and feelings. Sometimes this is called the humanistic approach.
It is important that our lives have meaning, and we want to know that our values and being
translated into our futures. Where have we come from, who are we and where are we going?
It is also important that there are clear expectations of what one can expect from each
other as client and therapist.
Research shows that successful therapy is based on a bond of trust. Ultimately a client
has to feel the therapist has a genuine interest in their wellbeing and as a consequence
listens, understands and helps.
Along with talking therapy I may offer visualisation, drawing or sound making to expand
your experience of therapy.
I offer a counselling service in Richmond and therapy service in Barnes, also working as a
therapist in Twickenham.
